Charles “Chuck” William Donohue, Jr., 88, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away on August 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born May 20, 1937, in Garden Grove, California, Chuck was the son of the late Charles W. Donohue, Sr. and Myrna Shulze Donohue. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, Airman 2C, from 1956–1960 as a Nuclear Weapons Technician, later becoming a union electrician with IBEW Local 441 and a teacher at Educorp Career College in Long Beach until his retirement in 2004.

In 1980, he met the love of his life, Marianne Kluzak, with whom he shared 45 years. A Master Carver, Chuck spent 11 years restoring a 1923 Hersel Allen carousel, now displayed at Stade’s Farm in McHenry, Illinois.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Marianne; sons Charles (Tres) Donohue of Loveland, CO, and Michael (Mike) Donohue of Costa Mesa, CA; stepdaughter Danielle Nelson of Corona, CA; stepson Ross Stevens of Fountain Valley, CA; five grandchildren; and sister Jeannine Jacobs of Florida.

There will be no local services in Michigan. Military Graveside Services will be 12:15 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
