Cartha Pearl Elliott

Cartha Pearl Elliott, age 85, of Stanton, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Sparrow Carson City Hospital in Carson City. She was born June 25, 1933 in Alma, Michigan the daughter Ruben and Dorothy (Crawford) Strayer. Cartha was a stay at home mom with her daughter Betty. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, embroidery, baking and loved angels. Most important to her was the love of her family. She is survived by her daughter Betty Eldridge of Stanton; grandchildren Rick (Brenda) Kirby of Greenville and Charlotte (Clayton) Lesley of Fenwick; four great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Elliott on March 18, 1994 and eight siblings; brothers Hobart, Butch, Charlie, Vernon and Henry Strayer and sisters, Donna Pittman, Bernadine Elliott and Clara Corona. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Marshall Funeral Home, with burial in New Haven Cemetery.
