Brian F. Lierman, aged 52 of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by family on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was born on September 1st, 1971, in Grand Rapids to Larry and Norma (Succaw) Lierman, who have both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Lierman, Jr. Brian is survived by the love of his life, Tammy, his children, Alyssa Jean, Ashley Marie Lierman, Jasmine (Sandra), Alek, Jaden, and Alyssa Freeman; grandchildren, Cassius Clay (10), Cali Draine (8), Cameron Lierman (4), Amaziah Drake (2), and Kaizen Drake (1), his father, Richard Nelmark, siblings, Gary (MaryJo) Lierman, Briana (Darius) Smith, Patricia Jones, and Debbie (Eddie) Duram-Spencer, many nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends, he called brothers, Jimmy Freeman and Ron Donaldson. Brian was a service writer at Quality Express Auto who loved sitting in his man cave with his wife and family watching his beloved Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions. He took the most joy in getting together with his family and friends in his backyard, cooking up new recipes on his grill and chatting about life. He had a huge heart, a sense of humor that was one of a kind and a love for his family that was unmatched. He lived for and loved the time spent with them, and he will be truly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. In Brian's honor, there will be a backyard Celebration of Life at The Lierman Home on June 29th, 2024, just the way he would want. More details to follow soon.
