Bert A. Hopp

Bert A. Hopp age 75, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his home. He was born November 8, 1947 in Roger City, the son of Alfred F. & Edna W. (Brege) Hopp. He retired from General Motors in Pontiac, worked for Brinks, was a professional photographer and was a member of the American Legion Post #101 of Greenville. Bert is survived by is wife Katie; children Eric (Erin) Hopp of Troy and Bert (Karyn) Hopp, II of Milford, Kirk Olsen of Grand Rapids, Linda Olsen of Grand Rapids; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Harley Hopp of Alabama and Ray Hopp of Jackson and his sisters Sharon (Walter) Wiitila of Clarkston and Rita and Kris. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the Marshall Funeral Home, with visitation from NOON till the service. Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery with Military Honors by the Greenville American Legion Post #101. Memorial contributions can be made in Bert’s name to the Humane Society.
