Austin R. MacMillen

Austin R. MacMillen age 25, of Gowen passed away at home. He was born May 3, 1997 in Grand Rapids. He was a 2015 graduate of Greenville High School, loved to go fishing, camping, telling stories about his adventures, spending time with his best friends (FROGS), playing Pokemon GO, and most of all Austin will be remembered as a selfless giver to all. Austin is survived by his Mother Rebecca D. MacMillen (Travis H. Jewell) of Gowen; Father Jeffrey D. MacMillen (Nichole) of Grand Rapids; Brother Nolan R. MacMillen of Grand Rapids; Brother Mitchell J. MacMillen (Hannah) of Greenville; bonus siblings Shaad Jewell of Gowen, Damian Jewell of Belding, Hailee Jewell of Sheridan, and Owen Jewell of Sheridan; Grandfather Raymond Caniff Sr., (Cheryl) of Sand Lake, Kayte Johnson (Gary) of Texas; Uncles Raymond L. Caniff, Jr. (Jolene Doran) of Grand Rapids and Donald MacMillen (Rebecca) of Sheridan; Aunt Elizabeth M. Johnson of Louisiana, Lisa Beene (Steve) of Louisiana, Heather Caniff of Greenville; Cousins Logan MacMillen, Hailey MacMillen, Ivan Larsen, Jr., Tahj O. Caniff, Leala G. Caniff, Gabby MacMillen, Jacob Midkiff, Taya Midkiff, Krickett Racca, Sydney Harwood, and Brayden Harwood; His extended family Uncle/Aunt David Harris (Karrie) of Gowen, (Sister) Lauren Herring of Grand Rapids, Ray Moreno Sr., (Vernita) of Gowen, Sisters Marlena Moreno, Alethia Stevens and Scott Stevens. Austin was a Godfather to Rosalie Stephens, Ashton Corner, Daniel Clark, Jr., and Myles Clark. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, David B. MacMillen and his grandmother Terri L. Caniff. Memorial Services will be 11 AM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Greenville First Church of God. There will be a luncheon following the celebration of life at the church.
