Albert William Frandsen

Albert William Frandsen 92, of Sand Lake, MI died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving wife and his family. Albert was born December 13, 1926 in Trufant, Michigan the son of William & Christina (Albertson) Frandsen. Albert was a farmer all his life combined with other projects in between. He also loved his cows. He was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his Ford Tractor and was the happiest when working with one or on it. He served as a Trustee on the Spencer Township Board for several years and truly loved serving. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, who he married on June 17, 1950, Betty Lou Frandsen. His children Bruce Frandsen, Katherine (Mark) Gebhardt, Lucinda (Bill) Helmer and Judy (Scott) Schultz; grandchildren; Cory Frandsen, Andrea (Michael) VanSetters, Austin (Amber) Frandsen, Travis (Ann) Szanto, Sabrina (Mike) Milewski, Darci Szanto, Billy (Heidi) Helmer, Jamie (Gordon) Gorby and BreAnna Schultz; great grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Teegin, Sullivan, Taelyn, Ashtynn, Vaughn and Grant; sister Virginia Christensen; sister in law Shirley Frandsen; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandchild Ranger Albert Frandsen, son Larry Dean Frandsen, twin brother Andrew and sister in law Mary Frandsen, brother Alger, parents William & Christina Frandsen, in laws Leon & Lila Tallman and brothers in law and sisters in law. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. The family will greet friends 4 to 6 PM Thursday, June 27, 2019 and from 10 AM till the funeral on Friday. Burial will be in Trufant Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Albert's name can be made to the Helen Devos Children's Hospital in honor of his great grandson Ranger Albert Frandsen.
